iX emergency call system failure

Hey everyone, did anyone else driving an iX see the message "Emergency call system failure"? BMW says I have to take it in to be checked. Will keep you updated on what happens.

My car flashed that same warning light at me a month ago! Fortunately, it has not shown its ugly face since. I'm thinking about postponing the dealership visit for a bit. Maybe if any more errors show up, I'll be able to get rid of them all at once!

This issue is getting alarming, I thought that I'm the only one who experienced this kind of scenario. After a reset on the car and a few minutes turned off it never showed up again, but just to be sure I took it to the dealer and I am fortunate enough because they didn't let me pay over such an easy check-up.

Saw this warning message the other day and i just disregarded it because from my understanding its not that important. When I used my car again the very next day the warning message didnt pop up again, might be a glitch because of how heavy ive been using my car lately.

Same issue and fortunately it was solved. The Telematics Control Unit was the issue, and my dealer had to replace it with a new one.
