Hey, drivers, what settings do I have to change to prevent my car from turning on the dashboard and radio when I open the front door? I thought I would get used to it, but it starts to annoy me more and more. Ty!
You can usually adjust this setting in the car’s menu under "Vehicle Settings" or "Startup Settings." Look for an option related to "Auto Start" or "Radio/Media on Door Open" and disable it.
I came across it in the Locks category. Toward the bottom of the list, there’s an option that seems to say something like 'Power off system when doors are opened.'
